St David's College

St David’s College is a Catholic voluntary secondary school in Artane, Dublin, under the trusteeship of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust. Formerly a Christian Brothers all-boys school, it transitioned to co-educational enrolment in 2024; however, at the time Mary completed her school placement, the student cohort was still all boys.

During her second-year placement, Mary taught 2nd year students twice a week, delivering A clay-based UoL, while also leading a weekly mentoring programme with 5th year students that encouraged them to explore art in new ways through alternative processes such as monoprinting.
